LIVE: Police cordon off road with reports of forensics on scene - latest updates

Police have closed off a road in Bury this morning after a serious incident.

According to traffic alert service Inrix, Dumers Lane is currently shut in both directions due to the 'police incident'. It is closed between Manchester Road and Rectory.

Forensics officers are reportedly on the scene this morning (Tuesday). Officers have reportedly there since last night.
