Attacks on Gay Village adult store 'cannot continue,' police vow as fresh investigation launched after FIFTH attack
Police have said attacks on a Gay Village adult store 'cannot continue' after thugs targeted the shop for the FIFTH time.
Officers were called to Clonezone on Sackville Street on Sunday (September 10) at approximately 2pm. A masked offender attempted to break the steel panels guarding the shopfront before throwing an object at the doors and security equipment, causing around £3,500 of pounds worth of damage, according to Greater Manchester Police.
It comes after a spate of attacks in March, April, and May. Speaking to the M.E.N earlier, Clonezone manager Richard Tropez said the incident was 'absolutely terrifying' for the staff inside.
