Chelsea co-owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital are reportedly mulling over their options, just over two years after they took over the club.
According to a recent report from Bloomberg, the two parties are contemplating whether they can buy each other out following a fallout between Boehly and Clearlake co-founder Behdad Eghbali.
A series of disagreements have led to a strained relationship, leaving the future of the Blues uncertain. Boehly, who also owns the Los Angeles Dodgers as part of the Guggenheim Baseball Management consortium, initially stepped up as sporting director when they first bought the club.
However, over the past two years, he has gradually taken a backseat as the club committed to revamping its recruitment staff.
