Southern Counties East round-up: Unbeaten VCD make it eight wins out of nine while Whitstable fight back to draw at high-flying Holmesdale

VCD continued their relentless form at the top of the Southern Counties East Premier Division. The unbeaten Vickers made it eight wins from nine, dropping only two points, with a 2-0 victory at Snodland.

Bethel Gboda broke the deadlock two minutes before the break and George Whitelock clinched victory midway through the second half.

Fellow unbeaten side Faversham climbed to third after beating Rusthall 2-0 at Salters Lane. Johan Caney-Bryan set the Lilywhites on their way with a 12th-minute opener and in-form Tashi-Jay Kwayie secured the points after the break.

Whitstable fought back from 2-0 down to draw at second-placed Holmesdale. Lewis Heywood-Oriogun and Don Macauley put the hosts in charge.
