A second man has been arrested has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after an 87-year-old man was bundled into a car and thrown out 15 miles away.

The elderly victim was reportedly dragged into a black car while walking home from Oldham Central Mosque last Sunday evening (September 15).

As he turned onto Lee Street from Manchester Street, it is believed that the vehicle pulled up next to him before two men got out and forced him inside.

The pensioner was then blindfolded, threatened and had his clothes ripped by the offenders, who demanded money and his phone, police said.
