Netflix fans have asked “what on Earth was that” after watching the finale of The Diplomat. From showrunner Debora Cahn – writer and producer of The West Wing and Homeland – the new political drama stars Cocaine Bear’s Keri Russell as Kate Wyler, the new US Ambassador to the UK.

It follows Kate as she is thrust into her new role and must diffuse international crises and forge strategic alliances in London, all while trying to survive her marriage to fellow career diplomat and political star Hal (Rufus Sewell).

Scores of fans have been gripped by the show and have already binged all eight episodes since it dropped on Thursday (April 20).

The Diplomat has been well received, currently boasting an 88 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and sitting at number one in Netflix’s top 10 TV shows.

The construction at the international stadium at Narsingarh began way back in 2017 with an estimated cost of Rs. 185 crore but the stadium is not yet ready. "IPL chairman Arun Kumar Dhumal recently visited the proposed international stadium at Narsingarh on the outskirts of the state capital. He said if the stadium's is ready before February next year, it could be made second home ground of KKR or some else other state will get the benefit," TCA secretary Subarta Dey told PTI.
