Mikey Johnston has revealed he kept tabs on West Brom this season before his transfer as he delivered his big aim for the season.

Brendan Rodgers cashed in on the winger before the summer transfer window slammed shut after falling down the pecking order and failing to establish himself in the squad.

With the likes of Daizen Maeda, Nicolas Kuhn and James Forrest further up the selection line, the Republic of Ireland international moved on with a return to the Hawthorns, following a hugely successful loan period last season.

He took to social media to send an emotional farewell to Celtic with the likes of Stephen Welsh and former No1 Joe Hart sending their well wishes in the comments alongside hundreds of fans.
