Manchester United could sign ‘a new right-back’ this summer if they can offload Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The 24-year-old fell down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the arrival of former interim manager Ralf Rangnick, and it appears unlikely that he will regain his starting spot under new boss Erik ten Hag.
Romano has previously informed GiveMeSport that Diogo Dalot, who replaced Wan-Bissaka in United’s starting XI, is a player that Ten Hag ‘really likes’.
And reports have also claimed that Wan-Bissaka and fellow full-back Brandon Williams have been urged to find new clubs ahead of the upcoming campaign as their game time will be severely limited.
BBC Sport then disclosed that Crystal Palace were interested in re-signing their academy graduate on loan, three years after they sold him to United for an eye-watering £50 million.
