Manchester United are ‘still working’ on trying to offload defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, according to journalist Dean Jones. The 24-year-old slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford after former interim manager Ralf Rangnick replaced Ole Gunner Solskjaer in November and he now appears to be surplus to requirements.
Reports back in June claimed that Wan-Bissaka and fellow full-back Brandon Williams have been ‘urged to find new clubs’ by new boss Erik ten Hag.
It’s claimed that the Dutch tactician told the pair their ‘playing time would be limited’ if they stay at United, with Diogo Dalot cementing his status at the club’s first-choice right-back.
However, interest in Wan-Bissaka has been low. His former side Crystal Palace were reportedly contemplating making a move to sign him on a season-long loan deal, although a formal offer is yet to materialise.
