Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has held talks with PSG but is expected to stay at Old Trafford beyond the summer, according to transfer insider Dean Jones. The £200,000 per-week ace has endured a tough 18 months at his boyhood club and has recently been linked with a move to the French capital.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the reigning Ligue 1 champions considered Rashford as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe back in the summer of 2021.
Of course, Mbappe has since ended up committing his long-term future to PSG, although Le Parc des Prince side are once again interested in signing the 24-year-old, who scored just four Premier League goals last season.
According to the Telegraph, PSG held ‘tentative talks’ with Rashford’s brother in France last week, although the report claims that United are ‘relaxed’ about the situation.
