Man United's four Erik ten Hag replacements emerge before crucial West Ham clash

Manchester United reputedly have four names on their list of potential replacements for manager Erik ten Hag. Thomas Tuchel is now not one of them after being earmarked by United before agreeing to become the new England head coach.

His predecessor, Gareth Southgate, has ruled out a return to coaching in the next year despite having admirers at United in sporting director Dan Ashworth and Sir Dave Brailsford, his equivalent at Ineos.

However, other out-of-work options exist, including former Chelsea head coach Graham Potter, who spoke about United on Monday Night Football late last month.

He is, though, not known to be under consideration at this stage despite the speculation this summer before Ineos extended Ten Hag's contract at United.
