Liverpool are ‘100%’ interested in luring Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham to Anfield but will be concerned by Manchester City also vying for his signature, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth. The Reds broke their club-record transfer fee when they parted with £85million to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica during the summer, but it appears boss Jurgen Klopp is preparing to splash the cash once again.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool duo Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have urged Bellingham to join Liverpool at the end of the season.

The report suggests conversations were held during last month’s international break, with the Dortmund man taking his number of England caps up to 17 thanks to starting the Nations League clashes with Italy and Germany.

But Manchester City are in a similar position as CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has previously revealed to GIVEMESPORT that Erling Haaland has ‘directly told’ Bellingham that he should make the switch to the Etihad Stadium.
