Leicester City ‘would like’ to lure Thomas Frank away from Brentford if Brendan Rodgers is sacked by the King Power Stadium hierarchy, according to CBS reporter Ben Jacobs. The Foxes only spent just over £15million during the summer transfer window and have made a worrying start to the campaign.
Leicester will head into Monday’s Midlands derby against Nottingham Forest sitting bottom of the Premier League and desperate for three points.
Rodgers admitted that he is under increasing pressure after the Foxes’ 6-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur before the international break and it is understood that the Northern Irishman is on extremely thin ice.
The 49-year-old would reportedly be entitled to a compensation package worth £10million if he is sacked and Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth recently told GIVEMESPORT that Leicester’s financial issues have kept him in the job.
