Holly Willoughby's much-awaited telly comeback got everyone talking. The esteemed former This Morning co-host, aged 43, has been sparingly seen on television since her departure from the ITV morning programme in October 2023 following a remarkable 14-year stint.

Holly had expressed at the time that it had been an "honour to just be part of its story," and that the difficult decision was made with her family's best interests at heart.

Subsequently, it came to light that Holly had been targeted in a harrowing scheme intended to kidnap and take her life. Earlier in the year, she joined forces again with Stephen Mulhern to present Dancing on Ice.

Since then, Holly has maintained a relatively low profile, until this Wednesday (September 11), when she made a triumphant return to our screens during the National Television Awards.
