Harry Maguire has urged Manchester United to "keep the belief" after scoring a stoppage-time equaliser during their chaotic 3-3 draw against Porto on Thursday.
Erik ten Hag was placed under increased pressure following Sunday's 3-0 drubbing against Tottenham and needed a victory in Portugal to ease the scrutiny on his position.
United got off to the perfect start, easing into a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund. However, they surrendered that advantage with Porto turning the game on its head with Pepe Aquino pulling one back before former Chelsea target Samu Omorodion scored a brace to put them ahead. Although Maguire's 91st-minute header secured a valuable Europa League point for United, the performance and collapse felt like another damaging act for Ten Hag as speculation continues to grow over his future.
