Many towns and villages have decked themselves out with Union Jacks and bunting ready for the Coronation weekend. But the village of Bramhall has gone one step further - creating a trail of life-sized Royals for visitors to find.
Independent business owners in the Stockport village have clubbed together to create the free Royal Trail with a series of life-sized cardboard cutouts of King Charles and his royal household hidden in shops, restaurants and bars.
Families can pick up a trail form, and if they find them all will be entered into a free prize draw that will take place on Saturday evening. Alejandra, 42, says: "Bramhall is looking fantastic, there are lots of flags out and everyone has dressed their windows with the red, white and blue. "So we thought adding the Royal Trail would be a bit of fun and something for the kids to do, as well as hopefully increase footfall to the shops.
