Foreign Office issues France travel warning as strike action continues

Brits visiting France have been warned of “coordinated strike action” taking place on Thursday, April 13. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has updated its travel advice for the country.

The demonstrations are set to impact various sectors, including transport networks. The FCDO has advised travellers that the industrial action “may start the evening before the strike day and run for several days”.

Holidaymakers are advised to stay up to date via the media and check with operators for the latest advice before travelling.
