A main road in east Manchester remains taped off with emergency services on the scene after a serious crash involving five vehicles.
Police officers, paramedics and fire crews were scrambled to the scene on Hyde Road in Gorton, near Debdale Park and the Reddish bridge, just after 10am this morning (Sunday).
A stretch of the road was taped off as crews responded. A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said five vehicles were involved.
