Erik ten Hag has appeared to suggest Marcus Rashford is on the bench for Manchester United's game against Chelsea for rotation.
Rashford was absent from the 1-0 victory against Bournemouth last weekend due to sickness, but he returned to first-team training in midweek and he was expected to make the starting line up to play Chelsea on Thursday night.
But the forward starts the game on the bench instead, which has given Jadon Sancho the chance to retain his starting role. Ten Hag discussed his team selection with Sky Sports ahead of kick-off and said: "You don't get a point, you have to deserve a point, but that can never be the approach.
