Dundee confirm Charlie Reilly signing as Dens Park training stint while at Albion Rovers last year revealed

Albion Rovers hero Charlie Reilly has completed his move to Dundee on a two-year deal. The PFA Scotland League Two Player of the Year had agreed to join the Dark Blues last month, but doubt was cast on his switch to the City of Discovery following Gary Bowyer's shock exit as manager in the aftermath of the club's promotion to the Premiership.

Now, the 21-year-old has now been officially unveiled by Dundee this aftermoon and he makes the leap from bottom tier to the top tier of the SPFL.

Dundee also revealed Reilly has been training with the club over the last year while he was with part-time Rovers, who were releagted to the Lowland League at the end of last month.

Former Hamilton Accies man Reilly netted 24 goals and made 19 assists in 43 appearances for Rovers last season - eraning him a PFA Young player of the Year nomination - and will be a huge loss to the Coatbridge side.
