Dujon Sterling is believed to have reached an agreement 'in principle' with Rangers to move to the club this summer. It was reported in England on Thursday afternoon that Chelsea had given the right-back their 'green light' to the move after time out on loan at English Championship side Stoke City this season.
Now The Athletic report that he has reached an initial agreement with Michael Beale's side and will make the move north on a free transfer this summer.
Sterling 'had a number of offers' on his plate but it is claimed that boss Beale has been the 'key' factor behind him opting that Scotland's Premiership is for him.
Rangers are currently in the process of readying a big overhaul of the playing squad, with a host of players with second tier experience in England linked in recent weeks.
