Beer enthusiasts, it's time to celebrate as a recent study has unveiled the locations around the globe where you can get your hands on the most affordable bottle of beer.

Regrettably for us Brits, the cheapest city in the UK was Nottingham, which ranked 99th, with a bottle setting you back approximately £1.63.

However, the situation is quite different across the channel. According to experts at Magnet Kitchens, Italy, Germany and Spain offer the lowest prices for a pint.

The study analysed 190 cities using crowdsourced data from Numbeo on the cost of a bottle of beer worldwide in 2024. German towns dominated the top 10, with Wandsbek in the north of the country ranking as the tenth best-value location, where a bottle will only cost drinkers a mere 74p.
