A cordon is in place in Cardiff after "ordnance" was discovered. Bomb disposal experts have been called after the device was discovered on the shore off Rover Way.
South Wales Police said a cordon was in place, and warned people living in the area may hear "explosions" tonight while experts work at the scene. A spokesperson said: "Officers have put a cordon in place following the discovery of ordnance on the shore off Rover Way in Cardiff.
"Specialist bomb disposal experts have been notified and will be attending to make the ordnance safe. Residents may hear explosions this evening and there is no cause for alarm.
