David Moyes and the two Celtic stars he snubbed as 'huge' West Ham potential finds its way to Parkhead

He had both of them on his West Ham United books - but it's a what could have been story when it comes to David Moyes and two current Celtic stars.

Joe Hart spent time on loan at the Premier League side during the 2017-18 season, just when a young Sead Haksabanovic was emerging onto the scene.

The latter had joined on a five-year deal for seven figures and was highly rated around the club in Hart's only Hammers season.

Slaven Bilic had brought both into the system but Moyes' arrival in November of that term was not good news for either. For starters, their Man City loanee had been their number one but was replaced by Adrian soon after the Scotsman's arrival.

West Ham boss David Moyes said wants more from striker Gianluca Scamacca after failing to pick him in the 1-1 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday. The point meant that the Londoners moved out of the bottom three, but only on goal difference, when they had to fight back after going behind to an Ollie Watkins strike. Ad Said Benrahma scored from the spot in order to claim a point for Moyes in a game when the Scot was finally able to pick from all his summer and winter signings, including Danny Ings, who was back from injury.
