Celtic legend Scott Brown has pinpointed three of the current crop of Celtic stars he would have loved to play with - including one that could have "done the running" for him.

Brown brought the curtain down on a glittering 14-year career at Celtic Park before Ange Postecoglou's arrival as he took his first steps into coaching at Aberdeen, but the current Fleetwood Town boss still keeps a close eye on the Parkhead side.

With Celtic pushing for a Treble this season, having already lifted the League Cup and holding a nine-point advantage at the top of the Scottish Premiership, club icon Brown has revealed the trio he would have enjoyed playing with during his time in Glasgow's east end.

Reo Hatate earned a glowing report card as Brown admitted the 25-year-old would have been the perfect midfielder partner for him during his final years in the Hoops.
