Manchester United players David de Gea and Christian Eriksen both reached out to Alejandro Garnacho after the Argentina starlet provided a concerning update on his ankle injury.

Garnacho, 18, limped off against Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon following a challenge from right-back Kyle Walker-Peters which left him needing treatment.

Sharing an update on Instagram, the winger stated he will play no part against Real Betis and Fulham. Although no definitive time-frame has been put on his absence, the Argentine hotshot has also been forced to withdraw from the Argentina squad ahead of the upcoming international break, having just earned his first senior call-up.
