Cameron Carter-Vickers has been spotted jetting back into Scotland as he begins his Celtic road to recovery. The American international underwent knee surgery this week after last weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final win over Rangers.
He has been carrying the injury for some time but has now gone under the knife and his season is over, with a view to returning for the start of the next term.
He's already back on his feet, with new pictures showing Carter-Vickers arriving back at Glasgow Airport on crutches and a bandage around his knee.
Boss Ange Postecoglou had said on Sky Sports of the warrior earlier on Friday: : “He’s had the surgery, he’s on his way back and it went really well and he’ll be alright for the start of the season, I’m sure.
