Bruno Fernandes has sent a message to Alejandro Garnacho after the 20-year-old assisted Paulo Dybala's goal while playing for Argentina.

Garnacho has endured a frustrating start to the season with Manchester United but played a key role in helping his nation beat Chile in a World Cup qualifier on Thursday.

The winger was introduced by Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni with around 10 minutes left to play. Garncaho was able to assist Dybala who made it 3-0 in stoppage time.

The moment was an emotional one with images on social media emerging of Garnacho wearing a Dybala shirt eight years ago in 2016, something which Fernandes has appeared to reference when commenting on an Instagram post of the United forward celebrating with his idol.
