Manchester United have reportedly seen their opening bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund rejected. The Italian club, according to Corriere dello Sport, have snubbed United's £31million bid.
It is claimed that the Serie A side are looking for a fee between the £34-39m region for the Danish striker. Hojlund was signed from Sturm Graz last summer, for £15m, and scored nine goals in 32 appearances for Atalanta.
United manager Erik ten Hag is on the hunt for a centre-forward this summer and Hojlund is a target - along with Harry Kane, Goncalo Ramos, Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani.
Hojlund has addressed the United speculation publicly and is said to be on the radar of Juventus too. Want to join our MUFC Pro club for a totally ad-free version of the MEN’s Man United app packed with premium features?
