Alex Lowry says he must show an extra edge to prove he can be a regular for Rangers. The attacking midfielder is now a fully-fledged senior member in Michael Beale's dressing room, although he has endured a disrupted 2022/23 campaign.
But he will be one of the academy stars in the fold this summer as part of the manager's big Ibrox revamp, and Lowry is keen to play his part.
Scott Arfield - out of contract in the summer - and Ianis Hagi are two player he reckons he needs to get past. He has two favoured positions and a goal in mind, but knows it's a big ask.
He told club media: “I still have so much to prove and it’s up to me to prove to the manager that I’m worthy of a starting place or game time from the bench. “Hopefully I can play as many games as possible for the club. “The manager has given a lot of young players a chance.
