Adrien Rabiot's mother, Veronique, has said they are on "excellent terms" with Manchester United amid speculation that the former Juventus midfielder is on Erik ten Hag's transfer radar.
Rabiot became a free agent in the summer after his contract in Turin expired. He has reportedly turned down moves to Saudi Arabia and Turkey in hope of earning another stint in Europe.
United are one of the teams who are thought to be tracking the midfielder. Despite the transfer window closing, they can still sign free agents and Rabiot is thought to be a considerable option. The move, in Ten Hag's first summer in charge, hasn't impacted Rabiot's relationship with the club with Veronique explaining why the deal didn't go through. "We are on excellent terms with Manchester United," Veronique revealed to La Gazzetta dello Sport amid supposed links with a move to Old Trafford.
