Abdallah Sima could be a Rangers player 'as early as next week' as Michael Beale moves in on signing number five on a loan deal from Brighton.
The Senegalese international earned a £7m move to the ambitious Premier League club in 2021 after form in the Czech Republic with Slavia Prague, where he impressed Ibrox boss Beale in a Europa League meeting between the pair.
The Czechs knocked out both Leicester and Rangers on their run to the quarter-finals that season and it prompted Brighton to make a splash of £7m.
A loan move to Stoke City has been blighted by injury and last season, Sima was relegated from Ligue 1 with Angers. Roberto De Zerbi has sanctioned another loan for the player who has yet to make an appearance for the Seagulls.
