Windows blown out in house blaze as fire crews cordon off street in Crumpsall

A street was taped off after a house erupted into flames in Crumpsall on Wednesday night (August 7). Police and fire crews raced to the incident on Delaunays Road at around 8.20pm.

A number of fire engines were pictured at the scene as police tape blocked off the road, near to North Manchester General Hospital late into the evening.

The windows of the first storey of the house were blown out and left badly scorched, as the walls inside could be seen charred by the smoke from the blaze.
