When will Rangers' Abdallah Sima play for Senegal at AFCON? How to watch, dates, times and opponents

Rangers will be without Abdallah Sima on their return to competitive action due to his involvement in AFCON.

The on loan Brighton attacker has been one of the key shining lights at Ibrox this season with 15 goals to his name so far. Philippe Clement has already witnessed some big goals at key moments from the Senegal international and has made it known that he hopes to convince him to stay north of the border when his loan terms expire. But when is Sima in action for Senegal over the course of the tournament? Record Sport has all the information you need.

The Africa Cup of Nations gets underway on Saturday, 13 January. The group stage runs from this opening game until Wednesday, 24 January. The knockouts then begin a couple of days later on Saturday, 27 January with the tournament ending on Sunday 11th February.

They first play on Monday, 15 January at 2pm against Gambia before facing Senegal at 5pm on Friday, 19 January. They finish off their group stage bid on Tuesday, 23 January against Guinea in a 5pm start.
