Well, until November, at least. The nation thought Scott McTominay had all-but sealed our status as the first club to qualify for Euro 2024 but a VAR intervention and a couple of Spain goals mean we'll need at least one more bite at the cherry. That comes when Norway welcome the Spanish to Oslo, desperately looking for an unlikely win that would keep their thin qualification hopes alive.

Anything other than a Norway win and, well, it's party time. But there's more than that to think about, with how the group finishes having a direct impact on the seedings for Germany when it comes around. So what exactly is the ideal scenario for the Scots, and why should we stop short of cheering Spain on to a comfortable win in Scandinavia? Record Sport takes a look.

So if Spain win, then we've qualified...but winning the group looks unlikely unless they stumble.
