What channel is Burnley vs Man City on? Live stream and kick-off details

Defending champions Manchester City will be looking to get their Premier League campaign off to a solid start when they face Burnley at Turf Moor.

The treble winners have had a somewhat low key pre-season with two wins and two losses, the latest being their defeat to Arsenal on penalties in the Community Shield on Sunday. It's also been a quiet season on the transfer front with just Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol brought in to strengthen Guardiola's team.

However, City fans will be hoping to get a glimpse of Josko Gvardiol in the Burnley clash after he wasn't included in the Community Shield squad. Gvardiol joined from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig for £75m this week and Pep Guardiola has spoken highly of the 21-year-old defender and alleviated any fears that he will be intimidated by his price tag.

City may not yet be done in the transfer window but as it stands, Guardiola's squad for Friday's encounter looks to be decided. The game is also a significant occasion for City fans as Blues legend Vincent Kompany will be in the Burnley dugout looking to make a positive start to life in the top flight following his impressive promotion from the Championship with the Clarets.
