Bayern Munich resmi mendatangkan Nathaniel Brown dari Eintracht Frankfurt. Ia dikontrak hingga Juni 2031.
MUNICH: Bayern Munich on Friday announced Germany defender Nathaniel Brown has joined the club from Eintracht Frankfurt on a deal running until 2031. The defending Bundesliga champions paid a reported fee of 55 million euros ($63 million) to Frankfurt to bring Brown, 23, to the club, where he will compete with injury-troubled Alphonso Davies in the left-back position. Calling Bayern “one of the best clubs in the world,” Brown said conversations with coach Vincent Kompany convinced him to make the move. “I’ve always dreamed of playing for the biggest titles at the highest level; I set myself the highest goals and want to get the maximum out of myself every day.”
MUNICH: Bayern Munich have signed Morocco’s World Cup standout Ismael Saibari from Dutch champion PSV Eindhoven for a reported fee of $63 million. The 25-year-old Saibari signed a contract through June 2031 and will wear the No. 34 jersey at Bayern, the Bavarian powerhouse announced Wednesday. Saibari chose the number in tribute to his friend Abdelhak Nouri, who collapsed on the field during a friendly match between Ajax and Werder Bremen in July 2017.
MADRID: Spanish giants Real Madrid said Saturday they have not made any contact with Bayern Munich winger Michael Olize over a potential transfer. The France international, currently at the World Cup, has been linked with Madrid by Spanish media, reporting Los Blancos were considering making a bid of more than 200 million euros ($230m). “In light of the information published in various media outlets regarding an alleged interest of our club in Bayern Munich player Michael Olize, Real Madrid wishes to clarify that they have not had any direct or indirect contact with the aforementioned footballer, his representatives, or people in his circle,” said Madrid in a statement. Madrid said they have an “excellent institutional relationship” with Bayern and said the reports “do not correspond to reality.” Olize joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in 2024 for around 60 million euros and shone as Vincent Kompany’s team won the Bundesliga and reached the Champions League semifinals. Real Madrid, who appointed Portuguese veteran Jose Mourinho as coach earlier in June, have made a spate of signings already this summer. Madrid brought in Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate on free transfers, and spent 55 million euros on Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella. After going two consecutive seasons without lifting a major trophy, record 15-time Champions League winners Madrid are remodelling their squad.
