We simulated West Ham vs Manchester United to get a Premier League score prediction

Manchester United will be looking to give their fans something to cheer about this Christmas when they travel to the capital to take on West Ham United.

A strong defensive display saw United earn themselves a hard-fought 0-0 draw away to Liverpool in their last Premier League outing, with the point leaving Erik ten Hag's side seventh in the Premier League table. The draw also meant United have picked up just one win in their last six, and another difficult clash awaits when they travel to West Ham on Saturday.

Victory could potentially see United go into Christmas in sixth place depending on Newcastle United's result, but defeat would see West Ham overtake Ten Hag's side. Bruno Fernandes will return after serving a one-game suspension, but Diogo Dalot will be missing after his dubious late red card against Liverpool.

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 24 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that West Ham could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Areola; Coufal, Zouma, Aguerd, Emerson; Soucek, Alvarez, Ward-Prowse; Kudus, Bowen, Paqueta.

We predict that United could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Evans, Shaw; Mainoo, McTominay, Fernandes; Antony, Hojlund, Rashford.

It was a strong start from United in east London, with Marcus Rashford looking refreshed and dangerous in the opening stages. The Englishman was United's main source of danger, and halfway through the first half, he played a pivotal role in the opener.
