Gary Neville gives verdict on Erik ten Hag's future at Manchester United
Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville believes Erik ten Hag will be given until the end of the season to try and turn the club's fortunes around.
United lost for the 14th time in all competitions so far this season on Saturday, losing 2-1 to Nottingham Forest at the City Ground. Goals from Nicolas Dominguez and Morgan Gibbs-White either side of a Marcus Rashford equaliser condemned United to a ninth league defeat of the campaign.
After finishing third in the Premier League and winning the Carabao Cup last season, United were expected to kick-on this term and build on those progressive steps. However, they have regressed at an alarming rate and produced a catalogue of underwhelming performances.

Though Ten Hag is not directly responsible for the overall issues that have cost United dearly in recent years, he is not blameless for this season's slump. His tactical decisions have attracted criticism on various occasions throughout the campaign.
Following confirmation of INEOS' 25 per cent investment in the club on Christmas Eve, there has been increased speculation about Ten Hag's future at the club, with former Chelsea boss Graham Potter having been heavily linked with the prospect of replacing him. Neville, though, believes the Dutchman will see the season out at the very least.
