Transfer news LIVE as Rangers and Celtic plus Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen FC eye signings

The season is up and running but fear not - there's plenty more red hot transfer action left to get our teeth stuck into.

Rangers have been one of the busier clubs in Scotland and now they know their route to the Champions League group stages, they'll be keen to strengthen further. A reunion with flop Sam Lammers could await if they down Dynamo Kyiv and it seems adding more firepower to their squad is the key, with Tommy Conway and Morgan Whittaker among those on the agenda.

Over the city things are flowing nicely for Celtic and talks are ongoing to bring Adam Idah back to the club. They could also move for Manchester United's Hannibal Mejbri - particularly if Matt O'Riley does end up leaving.

Aberdeen got their season off to the perfect start with three points against St Johnstone while Hibs and Bolton have had bids booted into touch for Dundee's Luke McCowan.

Down south, Liverpool are said to be open to loaning Ben Doak out with Brentford and Southampton among the Premier League clubs keen.

It's set to be a busy one - stick with us for all the rumours and done deals!

Luke McCowan doesn’t expect to leave Dundee any time soon – despite failed bids from Hibs and Bolton.

The skipper was the derby hero as his second-half penalty salvaged a point for the Dark Blues at Tannadice on Sunday.

The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and talks over a new deal have so far failed to see an extension agreed.

That has seen both Hibs and Bolton make six-figure bids but both have been rejected by Dundee.

I am a Dundee player as it is. There has been nothing that has been put on my plate that is going to make me leave here any time soon. I am the captain here and I need to take responsibility in each game.
