Footage of yobs smashing up vape shop during protests in Manchester city centre

Footage has emerged appearing to show a group of demonstrators smashing up a vape shop amid protests in Manchester city centre on Saturday (August 3).

Fights broke out, a supermarket had to be closed and public transport was brought to a standstill before crowds were moved along Mosley Street.

In recent videos shared online, a huge crowd can be seen attempting to loot the Vape Supermarket store, as advertisement boards were hurled at the shop front and others were kicking the door and windows.

It is understood that Greater Manchester Police are investigating the incident as part of their wider and ongoing enquiries into the protests on Saturday. Vape Supermarket declined to comment when approached by the M.E.N.
