Adam Idah is FINALLY set to rejoin Celtic on a permanent deal after a summer long transfer chase.

Brendan Rodgers has never hidden his desire to bring the Norwich City striker back to Parkhead on a full-time basis after a hugely successful loan stint in Glasgow last season. Idah is set to head for Scotland on Tuesday for a medical ahead of a return with Record Sport revealing that Celtic will pay around £8.5million up front to get their man in the door. Rangers hero Ally McCoist also delivered his views live on air during the talkSPORT Breakfast show. He explained: "I think it is a good signing. I think he will score goals. It is a lot of money but at the same time you will recoup it if he scores goals and wins you the league and gets you back into Champions League football. That is the way you've got to look at it. I would maybe say slightly overpaid but good player and I think he will do well."
