'This time next year' - Noel Gallagher's Ruben Amorim Man United prediction as Man City implode
Oasis legend and Manchester City supporter Noel Gallagher believes Viktor Gyokeres will be at Manchester United in the future after his hat-trick for Sporting.
The former Coventry City striker continued his explosive form for the Lisbon club in the Champions League as Pep Guardiola's side were put to the sword. Despite Phil Foden giving the visitors the lead, Sporting blew City out of the water, spearheaded by Gyokeres.
He scored his first just before the break when he chipped Ederson one-on-one. Soon after the interval, Sporting turned it around through Maximiliano Araujo as he fired home.

Gyokeres completed his hat-trick with two penalties as Guardiola's men fell to their third straight defeat. As he tried to process what was happening to his club, Gallagher, who was on commentating duties for TNT Sport covering the match, could not help but make a prediction about the Swedish striker's future.
"This time next year, he will be at Manchester United," the 57-year-old insisted as Sporting eased to victory. Gyokeres has been linked with a move to Old Trafford but Ruben Amorim has insisted he will not try to sign any player from the Lisbon club in January.
It is understood that Gyokeres would demand a fee of £83m from United if they are to tempt Sporting to sell. The victory over City was Amorim's last game in charge of the club in Lisbon before he takes over as the new boss at Old Trafford on Monday, November 11.
