Viktor Gyokeres to Man United transfer latest amid Ruben Amorim 'agreement' and Sporting dilemma

Ruben Amorim is in his first week of taking Manchester United training following his move from Sporting CP over the international break. The manager takes charge of his first game on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm kick off) when United travel to take on Ipswich Town.

Any potential move for Gyokeres in January could be put on hold, due to a reported ‘gentleman’s agreement’ between Amorim and former club Sporting CP. It is said that the manager has agreed not to approach any of Sporting’s players in the upcoming transfer window.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that as part of the negotiations that saw Amorim leave the club for United, the agreement was reached. That’s due to
