Rasmus Hojlund told what he must do to save Man United career amid Viktor Gyokeres transfer link
Ex-Manchester United defender Wes Brown has suggested that Rasmus Hojlund needs to prove his worth to new head coach Ruben Amorim, thereby negating the need for a potential investment in Viktor Gyokeres.
The Sweden striker is rumoured to be following Amorim from Sporting Clube de Portugal to Old Trafford, with the Premier League club being one of many top European teams 'considering' a summer move. However, Brown, who made nearly 250 appearances for United, believes the Danish forward has the opportunity to show he can lead the line under his new head coach.
Amorim has now conducted his first training session - and will take charge for the first time when United travel to Ipswich on Sunday. With the once-dominant giants currently sitting in 13th place, there is considerable pressure on him to start making improvements immediately.

Hojlund has not scored in his last six games and has only found the net twice in 12 appearances this season. Speaking to Casino24.dk, Brown stated: "Rasmus Hojlund works hard, and does everything to help the team.
"His teammates need to create more chances. He isn't given the ball enough in the box to allow him chances to get the ball into the back of the net. He has every right to be frustrated because he just wants chances, but United fans still love him because he gives it everything."
