The Masked Singer fans swooning as pop hearthrob unmasked as winner Rhino - and others make demand as they "need to hear it"

He's had the all-star panel and viewers watching at home wondering for weeks, and finally Rhino was unmasked in Saturday night's final of The Masked Singer. ITV's zany guessing game had fans working out that Rhino was either hitmaker James Arthur or noughties punk boyband member Charlie Simpson.

Rhino charged into the final with his powerful voice and emerged as the 2023 The Masked Singer winner. Viewers flocked to Twitter to say they had worked out right from the start that it was Busted singer Charlie, 37, beneath the elaborate costume, belting out the Pink hit Try.

Fans were swooning as their hearthrob was unveiled. @eviejcoutts tweeted: "I’ve never been so happy to have guessed correctly for The Masked Singer in my life. I’ve been saying Charlie since the first week he sang #TheMaskedSinger."
