The key advice Bruno Fernandes is sharing with Manchester United youngsters

Bruno Fernandes is passing on shooting tips to the next generation of Manchester United strikers.

The Reds captain has spoken of his conversations with United prospect Omari Forson and how he is giving out advice to the 19-year-old to try and help him find the net. Fernandes spent a portion of his early career in Italy before returning to his native Portugal with Sporting those experiences to helped him soak up different environments.

At Serie A stalwarts Udinese he linked up with Antonio Di Natale, who remains the club's record scorer with 227 strikes. To have gleamed sage knowledge in front of goal from one of Italy's most prolific strikers is a privilege for the United captain and it's not something he is being selfish with.

“Obviously, for me it was good to play in different leagues [and get] experience in Italy, experience in Portugal,” Fernandes told Wes Brown in an interview. “Now being in England, it's really good because you experience different ways to think, different ways to play.

“And I always try to get the mix of that together and obviously all that I have, all that I've learned within Italy. The other day, I was talking with Omari [Forson] before the break when we do the shooting practice, and I was telling him: ‘Look, [Antonio] Di Natale was always telling me this, when you're in certain positions, short steps, the way you kick the ball, everything.’
