Tyson Fury net worth compared to Francis Ngannou ahead of boxing fight

Tyson Fury has a vastly higher net worth than former UFC champion Francis Ngannou ahead of their fight on Saturday night.

The ‘Gypsy King’ will enter his first boxing match of the year as he takes on Ngannou in Riyadh. While many boxing purists have criticised the matchup, given that Fury’s opponent will be making his boxing debut, the WBC heavyweight champion is seemingly set for a lucrative payday.

The latest set of public accounts for Tyson Fury Ltd, from April 2021 to March 2022, showed a £13m profit and displayed that Fury had £43m in the bank. His estimated net worth after defeating Derek Chisora for the third time last December was claimed to be up to £130m, having reportedly earned just over £45m for his two fights in 2022.

While he has not been active in the ring, so far this year, Fury will still have made money through his various investments, including the Furocity energy drink, and the Netflix series At the Home with the Furys. In terms of Ngannou, the MMA star is reportedly set for a career-high payday against Fury that far outweighs what he made in the UFC.

Ngannou built a 12-2 record in the UFC, defending the heavyweight title against Ciryl Gane in his final fight for the promotion in January 2022. ‘The Predator’ was paid a reported $600k (£495k) for his
