The Hull City players set to be in international action in June

The Championship campaign ended several weeks ago but some players aren’t able to relax just yet after being called up to represent their countries. don’t have many internationals in their squad, but supporters can still watch a couple of their club’s players in action over the coming days, with games set to be played across the world.

Here’s a look at who could be in action and where over the next couple of weeks.

Lewis-Potter made his England under-21s debut in March as he came on as a late substitute against Albania and after being included in Lee Carsley’s latest squad, he’ll be hoping to build on that. The Young Lions are in action four times over this international period as they bring their 2023 UEFA European under-21 Championship qualifying campaign to an end.

England are currently second in their group, but with two games in hand, meaning they have a good chance of progressing to next year’s tournament. They travel to play Czech Republic on Friday, June 3, before returning to Chesterfield to face Albania on Tuesday June 7.

Lewis-Potter will hope to play a part in both games before Carsley takes his side to Kosovo on Friday June 10. The final game of their qualifying campaign comes at Huddersfield's John Smith’s Stadium on Monday, June 13 against Slovenia.

The Hull-born forward has plenty of competition for a spot in the side, with Angel Gomes, Anthony Gordon and Emile Smith Rowe amongst those included in the squad, but he’ll be confident of getting more game time in the white of England.
