The great next Rangers manager debate rages on the Hotline as Frank Lampard’s talked up and slapped down

It's time for some Frank conversations at Ibrox when it comes to the new Rangers manager.

Frank Lampard, that is. The Chelsea legend is understood to fancy a crack at the Gers hotseat and he’s shot to the top of the bookies’ list of favourites. Tough spells as boss at Everton and Chelsea have left some Light Blues fans unconvinced. But Barrie Urquhart , Clydebank, said: “Super Frank all day. Rangers fans any doubters cause his track record need not worry. Everton and Chelsea ruined top gaffers Koeman, Tuchel, Conte and Ancelotti. He’s perfect for us. He will bring the club’s values and standards back. He will handle the big time in Scotland nae bother. If he's interested, it’s a no brainer.”

In contrast, Andrew Lamb, Fraserburgh, said: “Frank Lampard isn't the answer, he has won nothing. Shortlist is simply Kevin Muscat, Kjetil Knutsen, and Derek McInnes. Knutsen is my pick as he's enjoyed success in Norway and has a good pedigree in Europe.”
